Job Description

Procurement Agent (Associate or Experienced)

Boeing Global Services Government (BGS-G) Supplier Management Organization is seeking an Procurement Agent (Associate or Experienced) to join the BGS-G Center of Excellence team in Hazelwood MO. The successful candidate will support procurement activities for aftermarket goods and services in a fast-paced environment while learning new skills solving challenging problems and experiencing opportunities to grow in the Supplier Management Organization. This position acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate and Experienced Procurement Agent.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage priorities for high volume of supplier purchase orders/contracts

  • Negotiates prepares and executes contractual documents and binding agreements

  • Manage supplier performance interpreting and enforcing contract terms and conditions

  • Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance

  • Integrates program customer product and in-service strategies into source selection negotiation and contracting strategies

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Hazelwood MO.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1 years of experience working with Supplier Management Supply Chain Procurement and/or strategic sourcing practices and processes

  • 1 years of experience leading supplier contract negotiations

  • 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel PowerPoint Word Outlook etc.)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 3 years of experience leading in a role that required the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

  • 3 years of experience in a role that requires the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

  • 3 years of experience do you in proposal development contract negotiations and/or contract execution with U.S. Government Customers

  • Bachelors Degree or higher in Business Supply Chain or related field

Typical Education/Experience:
Associate (Level 2)

Typically 3 or more years related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor Master etc.) preferred but not required.

Experienced (Level 3)

Typically 6 or more years related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor Master etc.) preferred but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
