Job Description
As a Warehouse Clerk you will:
- Inspect product received and identify concerns on the packing slips.
- Provide inventory counts & support warehouse management direction.
- Open shipping containers to verify item count or damage.
- Prepare shipments to prevent damage during shipment or movement.
- Perform custodial work in maintaining the warehouse and storage held location.
- Attend logistics warehouse meetings and support process improvement initiatives.
- Assist in pulling orders for Development and Operations.
- Responsible for obtaining end user signature or delivery documents.
- Works and communicates with internal and external clients and customers to meet their needs in a polite courteous and cooperative manner.
- Committed to quality service.
- Ensure timely receipt of material and reduce open purchase order reports.
- Assists Project Managers in ensuring timely delivery of products to the job sites.
Qualifications :
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts pallet jacks hand trucks and scanner.
- Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
- Occasional carrying and lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid FL State Drivers License to drive company golf carts.
