Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team in Ocoee FL. As a Delivery Driver you will be responsible for:
- Safely operating a delivery vehicle to transport food to designated locations
- Loading unloading and handling food with care to prevent damage
- Following prescribed routes and schedules to maximize delivery efficiency
- Providing excellent customer service including obtaining signatures and handling inquiries
- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries mileage and fuel consumption
- Conducting vehicle inspections and reporting any maintenance issues promptly
- Adhering to all traffic laws safety policies and company procedures
Qualifications :
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong customer service orientation with effective communication abilities
- Physical capability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems and mobile devices
- Knowledge of local area and routes in Winter Garden and surrounding areas preferred
- Previous experience in delivery logistics or related field preferred
- Commercial Drivers License (CDL) may be preferred depending on vehicle type
- Flexible schedule to accommodate varying delivery demands
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory
