The Opportunity:
The Enablement Engineer (Analytics) will be an integral part of theGrowth and Martech Engineering teamresponsible for implementing Analytics and Experience Cloud solutions other key Adobes digital surfaces. This role involves taking ownership of building scalable web data collection and tagging strategies and implementing them using AEPs Data collection toolsJavaScriptand other supporting tools on a large-scale web platform.
What Youll do:
- Collaborate with marketing product and analytics teams to gather tracking requirements and translate them into actionableTagging Specification documents(TSDs).
- Design implement and manage scalable tagging strategies usingAdobe Launch/TagsandAEP Web SDKensuring accurate data capture through well-structured data layers.
- Work with engineering teams to align data layer implementations withXDMschema and business logic.
- Configure AEP components including schemas datasets and ingestion pipelines.
- Partner with QA to validate and fix tag deployments using tools likeAEP DebuggerCharles Proxyand browserDevTools.
- Ensure data governance privacy compliance (e.g. GDPR CCPA).
- Enable integrations with Martech platforms such as Adobe Target Audience Manager and third-party tools (e.g. Google Meta Contentsquare).
- Provide documentation training and ongoing support to multi-functional teams on standard methodologies for digital data instrumentation.
Desired skills & Experiences required
- Proficient in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) including Web SDK () Real-Time CDP and XDM schema design.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Data Collection (Launch or Tags) or equivalent Tag Management Systems (TMS).
- Solid understanding of Adobe Analytics and Customer Journey Analytics implementation and reporting components.
- Skilled in Front-End technologies including JavaScript HTML DOM manipulation and familiarity with SPA frameworks like React or Angular.
- Deep knowledge of data layer architecture governance and debugging tools such as AEP Debugger network sniffers and browser developer consoles.
- Proven ability to build and manage technical specification documents.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical partners.
- 6 years in Digital Analytics implementation or Martech engineering
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field with at least 8 years of practical experience.
- Experience with Consent Management Platforms (CMPs) server-side tagging or integrations with platforms like Snowflake or BigQuery.
- Adobe certifications in AEP or Adobe Analytics.
