- Shift openings at both Fort Lauderdale and Miami Airports
- Three shifts covering 24-7 contractual obligations
- Morning Mid-day and Overnight shift opportunities available
- Schedule: 40 hours weekly with 1 weekend day per week
Matrix Systems Acre security company is an industry leader in access control and security management solutions is seeking an Field Technician - Access Control & Security Systemsto service Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and Miami International (MIA) Airports.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience installing and/or servicing access control and alarm/security systems in commercial buildings
- Three years experience installing and/or servicing access control fire and CCTV security systems
- Ability to work on-call on a rotational basis covering after hours & weekend emergency calls
- Must be a self-starter and work well without supervision
- Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to utilize multimeter
- Complete accurate and detailed service reports for customers and Matrix in a timely manner to allow for accurate invoices and job cost tracking.
- Exceptional proactive customer focus and ability to work under pressure
Requirements:
- Ability to pass a 10-year Homeland Security background check for access across airports
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Vocational/Technical Degree in electronics security or computer systems is a plus
- Ability to work in Microsoft Excel and NetSuite
- At least two years of wiring and terminating circuitry systems
- A valid state drivers license without restrictions
- Successful completion of drug screen
