Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our Human Capital Consulting Team where we craft success stories for our Clients. Our ideal candidate is someone who has experience in providing external advice for clients that require specialist Human Capital experience and skills on their business. The successful candidate should have Organizational/ Industrial Psychology background and meets the below requirements.

Main purpose of Job

To lead and/or deliver a service to clients on engagements / projects or part thereof through the promotion of our capabilities.

Key Performance Area:

  • Delivers or supports the team manager in implementing the strategy of the Service Line / Business Area in relation to specific area of expertise
  • Performs / supports the delivery efforts of the engagement team in area of competency
  • Tracks engagements / projects and ensuring effective project management and controls
  • Actively identifies sales opportunities in broader market
  • Leads or contributes to preparation of proposals and presentations
  • Forms appropriate judgements based on careful analysis to makes sound business decisions on engagements / projects
  • Develops productive credible and trusting relationships with key players and their teams during assignments / projects
  • Communicates regularly with both Engagement Manager and client to exceed deliverable expectations in specific area of expertise
  • Proactively identifies client needs and problems on technical issues that arise and propose resolutions to address these
  • Manages risk in area of engagement in alignment with Deloitte policies  
  • Consistently reviews and analyses accuracy and quality of own deliverables
  • Shares expertise and knowledge with team members and assists where possible to ensure quality and timeous delivery of work
  • Mentors junior members of the team (where required)
  • Maintains own development and knowledge in specialized area
  • Maintains quality and timeous delivery as per SLA 

Qualifications :

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Related Honours degree (Human Sciences Business Engineering Commerce and alike)
  • Organizational / Industrial Psychology Degree with Honours as an added advantage.
  • 3-5 years relevant work experience with minimum 2 years experience in a consulting environment to be an added advantage.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: Digital Organisational Design Organisation Culture Transformation Strategic Change Management Adoption Management Operational Change Management Human Resource Functional Optimisation; Technology Adoption Employee Engagement and Human resource Lifecycle activities
  • Experience in report writing will be an added advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Suite (demonstrated ability in Outlook Excel and PowerPoint).
