SMSF Accountant Full Time In-Office

Are you an experienced SMSF Accountant ready to take the next step in your career within a supportive and professional environment Were looking for someone with 23 years experience in SMSF accounting to join our growing team.
About the Role
In this full-time in-office position you will take ownership of a portfolio of SMSF clients while also contributing to general accounting compliance work across our business client base. You will work closely with a team that values precision integrity and long-term relationshipsdelivering high-quality results and outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of SMSF financial statements tax returns administration and compliance documentation
Managing the end-to-end compliance for SMSFs including liaison with auditors and regulatory bodies
Providing support to the accounting team with general tax and compliance tasks
Applying up-to-date SMSF legislation knowledge to client work
Collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate outcomes
About You
23 years experience in SMSF accounting within public practice
Strong knowledge of SMSF compliance tax and relevant legislation
Experience with SMSF software (e.g. BGL 360 or Class) and cloud-based platforms such as Xero
CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion
Exceptional attention to detail communication and organisational skills
A positive team-first attitude with a genuine desire to support clients
