We have more than 124000 members who are songwriters composers and music publishers. We license organisations to play perform copy or record our members music and we distribute the royalties to our members.
We are seeking a new Copyright Ownership Administrator to join the Quality Assurance team in the Repertoire department based in the Sydney Office. The Repertoire department plays an important part in facilitating APRA AMCOS core service of royalty distributions to members and affiliate societies. This role will suit people with a strong knowledge of music and an interest in copyright plus strong analytical research and problem-solving skills.
The role is based in our Ultimo office which is on Gadigal land.
As a Copyright Ownership Administrator your responsibilities will include musical works identification works ownership maintenance and integrity checking - with the aim of enabling accurate and successful distributions of royalties for APRA AMCOS repertoire. Liaising closely with your colleagues in Publisher Services and licensing teams you will be using musical work registrations and agreement information plus international databases and research tools to add and maintain accurate work ownership information for licensing purposes and for accurate efficient distributions of APRA AMCOS royalties.
