Job Description
The Marlin Alliance is seeking a skilled Mid-Level Power BI Developer to support Navy clients in designing and implementing effective data solutions. This role requires a balance of independent project work and collaboration with junior and senior developers. The ideal candidate is experienced in Power BI and Dataverse and can handle client interactions confidently. This is a fully remote position but applicants must have the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and deploy Power BI dashboards reports and data models to address diverse client needs.
- Connect and transform data from Dataverse and other sources for use in Power BI.
- Collaborate with teams and mentor junior developers in Power BI best practices.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and present findings.
- Optimize performance and usability of Power BI reports.
- Support troubleshooting debugging and maintenance of Power BI solutions.
- Document processes provide training to end users and create knowledge-sharing resources.
Required Qualifications:
- Active or ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field or 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in Power BI including data modeling DAX and dashboard creation.
- Experience working with Dataverse as a data source.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Power Platform tools like Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications such as PL-300 or PL-400.
Salary Range:
$95000$125000 annually
