Integrated Air & Missile Defense Systems (IAMDS) department is seeking a IAMD ConOps Technical Staff. IAMDS leads all aspects of Systems Engineering that drive the development of complex systems to support the Raytheon Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) mission area from our Tewksbury MA. The IAMDS department supports Raytheon by cultivating a world-class group of systems thinkers who work together as a team to architect technical solutions to some of the worlds toughest challenges
This position is onsite in Tewksbury MA
What You will do:
Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development and design
Concept and requirements development including decomposition and flow-down
Algorithm optimization research and development; trade studies to bring new advanced features to fielded system
Functional analysis of real world and test data
Multi-disciplinary development efforts across the kill-chain for an Air and Missile Defense System
Collaboration with customer to bring new capabilities to the warfighter
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelors in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 10 years of prior relevant experience
Ability to obtain security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Advanced degree in AerospaceEE Physics AppliedMath
Knowledge of radar systems (for example - PATRIOT LTAMDS AN/TPY-2 and others)
Experience with both broad large-scale data analysis and focused root-cause analysis
Experience with Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning
Experience with design of system level architecture
Experience with signal processing techniques system control
Experience interfacing with external customers
Experience across the product development life cycle
Excellent communications skills verbal and written with technical customer and senior leadership audiences
Self-motivated passionate leader
Proven ability and desire to facilitate career growth and knowledge transfer
Experience in requirements development
Proven ability to develop technical solutions to complex issues
Familiarity withMATLABDOORS and MS Office
Existing DoD Security Clearance
