The Sazerac Company established in 1850 is a leading North American spirits supplier and owner of many of the industrys most venerable distilling companies Buffalo Trace Distillery The Glenmore Distillery and A. Job Description/Responsibilities
Responsible for duties related to distilling operations including but not limited to:
Material receiving
Mashing fermenting distilling charcoal filtering
Barrel filling barrel handling
Boiler operation
Forklift operation
Equipment maintenance (preventative and basic mechanical repairs) and cleaning.
Ensuring products are produced according to specifications.
Will work inother areas of the distillery as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements
MustRequirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- 2 yearsexperience in manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Ability to operate Industrial equipment as required.
- At least 21 years of age
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
- Solid computer skills
- Detail oriented and demonstrated ability to perform work with high degree of accuracy
- Strong mathematical skills
- Forklift Certification
PreferredRequirements
- Ability to communicate with all levels of an org
- Ability to quickly learn new systems/processes
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proven organoleptic abilities
Physical Requirements
- Ability to operate Industrial equipment as required.
- Capable of working on your feet sitting climbing stairs and ladders bending kneeling and squatting.
- Ability to pick up and/or move objects up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Ability to work near moving mechanical parts
- Ability to work in wet humid conditions (non-weather)
- Noise level at work station is loud (metal can manufacturing large earth moving equipment)
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- In-person job attendance
- Ability to work 8 hour shift
- Ability to work overtime if necessary
