Overview

The Total Rewards Associate supports the day-to-day operations of the companys compensation and benefits programs. This entry-level position is a great opportunity for someone early in their HR career who is eager to learn and grow in the Total Rewards space. The Associate will assist with benefits administration compensation data entry employee communications and compliance-related tasks while helping ensure a positive employee experience.

What youll do

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:

  • Provide administrative support for the companys compensation and benefits programs.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions related to benefits and compensation escalating issues as needed.
  • Assist in preparing and distributing employee communication materials related to benefits enrollment program updates and compensation changes.
  • Help coordinate benefits orientations and onboarding support for new hires.
  • Maintain and update benefits and compensation data in HR systems (HRIS) ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with gathering and organizing data for compensation benchmarking and market surveys.
  • Support compliance activities by tracking regulatory requirements related to pay and benefits (e.g. FLSA ACA).
  • Generate basic reports and help analyze data to support decision-making in HR programs.
  • Collaborate with HR team members on special projects related to Total Rewards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the department.

Location & Travel Expectations:

  • This role may be based out of a Scout Motors location in Columbia South Carolina or the future Scout Motors corporate location (to be determined). The final location will be further discussed and aligned with the successful candidate.
  • Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
  • 02 years of related work or internship experience in HR Benefits Compensation or a general business setting.
  • Basic understanding of HR functions and interest in Total Rewards (compensation and benefits).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfort learning HR software and systems (e.g. HRIS).
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute in a collaborative team-oriented environment.

Pay Transparency

This is a full-time exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidates skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.

Initial base salary range $50000.00 - $75000.00
