Job Description
Responsibilities
Peraton is hiring an Enterprise Architect to work onsite in Stafford VA.
The successful candidate will be part of a team of Certified Enterprise Architects responsible for the development of Marine Corps Program of Record (POR) DoDAF Systems Architectures and review and track completed architectures throughout JITC testing and the Joint Staff Interoperability Certification process.
The Architect Team directly supports the government customer (USMC Chief Systems Architect) and works closely with the USMC Chief Operational Architect and Operational Architecture Team. The team member will work closely with members of a Marine Corps Systems Command Program Offices (Project Officer Lead Engineer Analysts contractor support team) to understand interpret and model system requirements within the DoDAF MetaModel (DM2).
Responsible for leading and engaging in information/data management projects including the Enterprise Architecture information models and flows data dictionaries data standards and data quality standards and processes. Knowledge of application modeling languages/techniques (e.g. Unified Modeling Language (UML) Systems Modeling Language (SysML) entity relationship modeling Unified Profile for DoDAF/MODAF (UPDM2) and Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)) including the ability to create and read the associated diagrams. Experience in creation of data dictionaries defining metadata management approaches and governance processes. Experience in developing and implementing IT architecture plans Enterprise Information Architecture standard and guidelines software development methodologies and strategic plans.
Qualifications
Requires 2 to 5 years with BS/BA or MS/MA or PHD with 0 years of experience
The Team member should be familiar with Information Technology Standards Engineering Information Management documents and the DoD Acquisition Process specifically the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) and Business Capability Acquisition Cycle (BCAC) process.
In addition to excellent communication skills flexibility and the ability to work independently the following would be a plus:
- Certification as an Enterprise Architect (e.g. FEAC CEA)
- Experience in Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) architecture development.
- Experience with data Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
- Experience with architecture development tools such as NoMagic Cameo Systems Modeler/Cameo Enterprise Architect.
- Marine Corps experience or knowledge.
- Requires an Active DOD Secret Security Clearance.
