Position Overview:
As the HR Business Partner you will serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for all employee relations matters across corporate retail and warehouse environments. You will own and execute key HR initiatives spanning employee relations performance management leave administration talent acquisition employee training and compliance. This is a high-impact role that supports leaders and employees across multiple states and departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and resolve all employee relations issues investigations and conflict resolution across corporate store and warehouse teams.
  • Manage leave of absence processes including FMLA ADA and other applicable leaves in coordination with third-party administrators.
  • Oversee performance management programs including coaching corrective action and terminations in accordance with company policy and employment law.
  • Support Director of Talent Acquisition with end-to-end talent acquisition efforts across all business units (retail warehouse corporate) from job posting through onboarding.
  • Ensure HR practices are compliant with federal state and local employment laws across multiple states.
  • Assist in administering employee benefits open enrollment and responding to benefit-related inquiries.
  • Collaborate with Director of HR and other leadership to align HR strategies with business goals and support workforce planning initiatives.
  • Contribute to broader HR projects and initiatives including policy & handbook updates training programs and employee engagement.
  • Analyze HR metrics (turnover engagement absenteeism etc.) to identify trends and influence decision-making.

Qualifications Desired:

  • 7 years of progressive HR experience with a generalist manager or business partner background.
  • Experience in a multi-location or distributed workforce environment (retail hospitality logistics or adjacent industries strongly preferred).
  • Strong understanding of employee relations and employment law across multiple states.
  • Demonstrated experience with leaves investigations performance management and talent acquisition.
  • Familiarity with HRIS and ATS systems; Paycom experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative and proactive approach.
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business or related field preferred; HR certification (ex. PHR/SPHR SHRM-CP/SCP) is a plus.
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule (40 hours per week) fully in-office five days per week (M-F) is required.
