Job Description
The HVAC Technician will serve as a vital member of our Dedicated HVAC Team responsible for the installation maintenance and repair of HVAC systems across a portfolio of properties. This role focuses exclusively on HVAC-related systems and equipment ensuring optimal performance safety and efficiency throughout the organization.
Technicians must be highly skilled self-directed and capable of working independently to diagnose and resolve system issues. This position involves regular travel and requires the use of a dedicated work vehicle and tools.
Responsibilities:
- Install maintain troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems and related equipment
- Conduct routine inspections of HVAC systems to ensure performance reliability and safety
- Perform preventative maintenance to reduce system downtime and extend equipment lifespan
- Diagnose and correct issues related to heating cooling ventilation and refrigeration
- Maintain clear documentation of service activities materials used and work performed
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with OSHA safety standards and company policies
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours HVAC emergencies
- Travel regularly to various sites within the portfolio as needed
- Other HVAC-related duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC installation service and repair
- EPA Certification (Type I and II A2L or Universal) required
- Strong diagnostic and technical skills with HVAC equipment and controls
- Must possess a valid drivers license and maintain a clean driving record
- Must have a reliable dedicated work vehicle and a full set of HVAC tools
- Ability to work independently manage time effectively and communicate professionally
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent bending and stooping in all directions
- Walking and standing for extended periods of time (6 hours or more)
- Repetitive use of hands and fingers through the use of tools
- Frequent climbing ladders and stairs
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED Required
