Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

- Salary Range: $125000 - $150000 annually

Responsibilities
- Monday to Friday schedule (9:00 am 5:00 pm)
- Provide psychiatric evaluations medication management and follow-up care for patients of all ages
- Work in an outpatient setting with a patient volume of approximately 15-20 per day
- Support all populations with a primary focus on children and adolescents
- May include some MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment) patients
- Participate in on-call duties approximately every 6 weeks
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including psychologists therapists and social workers
- Utilize evidence-based treatment for psychiatric conditions such as ADHD anxiety depression and mood disorders
- Educate patients families and caregivers on mental health management and resources
- Maintain detailed documentation within the EMR system (Credible)
- Participate in quality improvement and best practice initiatives
Requirements
- Clear and active licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in Florida
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in child and adolescent psychiatry preferred (new grads with strong training considered)
- Experience in inpatient psychiatric settings preferred
- Strong communication diagnostic and patient engagement skills
