As the Assistant Property Manager youll be the right hand to the Property Managerensuring operations run smoothly and residents feel at home. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting daily property operations across leasing maintenance and resident relations
- Supervising office and maintenance staff to uphold service standards
- Handling resident concerns and service requests professionally and promptly
- Assisting with leasingshowing units processing applications preparing lease documents
- Coordinating move-ins move-outs and unit inspections
- Monitoring rent collection assisting with delinquency tracking and enforcing policies
- Ensuring curb appeal cleanliness and maintenance standards are consistently met
- Assisting with budgets vendor coordination and financial reporting
- Helping plan community events and marketing initiatives
- Stepping in during the General Managers absence to ensure continuity
- 2 years of experience in property management (student housing is preferred)
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with property management software and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and standard regulations
