The MCCC seeks a dedicated and knowledgeable CPR Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for educating individuals in first aid and CPR. This role requires a passion for teaching and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences. STARTING DATE: 8/15/2025
SALARY: Appropriate placement per Collective Bargaining Agreement which will be commensurate with experience and education.
REPORTS TO: Principal or Designee
BENEFITS: One approved personal day per year one professional development day and sick leave
WORK-WEEK/YEAR: 107 days per school year
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Current CPR Instructor Level Certifications. Red Cross American Heart Association and ASHI Instructors are encouraged to apply. Candidates will need to have a clean background a willingness to work with High School students and the ability to connect with our students to deliver outstanding class experiences. Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that cover First Aid / CPR. Conduct hands-on training sessions that allow participants to practice skills in a safe environment. Assess participant understanding through practical demonstrations and written evaluations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of guidelines and best practices. Provide constructive feedback to participants to enhance their learning experience. Ensure all training materials and equipment are prepared and available for each class. Foster a positive learning atmosphere that encourages questions and participation. Collaborate with other instructors to improve course offerings and instructional methods. Ability to work quickly and independently handling multiple projects at one time and meeting deadlines. Demonstrated ability to problem-solve. Professional tact diplomacy and presentation with staff and stakeholders. Record of excellent attendance. Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with administrators staff students parents associates vendors and community members.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Experience working in a career-technical environment. Three years of experience teaching CPR. Working knowledge of school facilities particularly as related to career and technical education programming. Prior experience working with High School students.
