Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join our team. The Employee Benefits Account Manager will be responsible for managing client accounts and ensuring the smooth delivery of employee benefits programs. This individual will play a crucial role in building strong lasting relationships with clients and providing exceptional service to meet their needs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts maintaining strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their employee benefits needs and develop tailored solutions
  • Conduct regular account reviews to assess existing benefits programs and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate implementation of benefits programs
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and regulations to provide clients with up-to-date information and recommendations
  • Handle client inquiries complaints and escalations in a professional and timely manner
  • Act as a proactive advocate for clients identifying opportunities to expand service offerings and improve overall satisfaction
  • Provide support during the renewal process and assist in negotiating the best terms for clients
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions and account activities

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Previous experience in employee benefits required
  • Strong understanding of employee benefits programs and regulations
  • Previous experience with various funding arrangements including fully insured level funded and self funded
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze data and provide strategic recommendations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Benefits Administration software
  • Holds an active L&H insurance license (or willingness to obtain)
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively
  • Commitment to providing exceptional service and building long-term client relationships
  • Willingness/ability to travel as needed for client meetings
