Role: General Teaching Assistant
Hourly Rate: 13.6815.00
Location: Scarborough
We are working with a well-regarded inclusive school in the Scarborough area that is committed to helping every learner thrive. The school promotes a calm and purposeful learning environment where pupils are supported to develop confidence and independence.
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant to support pupils within the classroom. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and wants to make a positive impact on young peoples lives.
The successful candidate will bring energy flexibility and a nurturing approach. While experience is beneficial a proactive mindset and strong interpersonal skills are equally valued.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting pupils learning and wellbeing across the school
Assisting teaching staff with lesson preparation and delivery
Encouraging pupil participation engagement and independence
Providing one-to-one or small group support as needed
Building strong relationships with pupils and colleagues
