Kalis Hospitality is on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Retail Manager Statewide to oversee the performance of our 14 bottleshops across Tasmania.

About the role
This newly created role is a great opportunity to shape the future of our retail operations. You will be responsible for supporting and guiding store managers ensuring compliance with industry regulations increasing product sales and developing strong promotional partnerships.
You will report directly to the General Manager and work closely with the Operational Manager. This role also includes building relationships and collaborations with liquor suppliers and brand partners so strong industry knowledge is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the performance and daily operations of 14 branded bottleshops across Tasmania.
- Coach and support store managers to achieve sales targets and deliver consistent service.
- Develop and implement retail strategies that respond to market demand and support business growth.
- Use data and market insights to identify trends and drive strategic improvements across the retail network.
- Coordinate product promotions and work closely with suppliers on retail campaigns.
- Maintain compliance with licensing regulations and company procedures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with liquor suppliers and brand partners.
- Work with other departments to ensure retail operations align with the wider business.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience managing multiple retail locations within the liquor industry.
- Strong understanding of liquor products supplier relationships and in-store promotions.
- Proven leadership skills and a supportive management style.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements and retail best practices.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- A motivated and organised person who is comfortable travelling across Tasmania.
