We are actively recruiting for a Senior Manufacturing Technician to support a world-class manufacturing facility in Sumter South Carolina. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with a strong electrical/mechatronics background who is ready to contribute to critical production operations and lead technical performance on the night shift.
This position is shift-based (8:00 PM 8:00 AM on aschedule) and offers a dynamic growth-focused environment in the medical manufacturing industry.
Set up troubleshoot and maintain production equipment including electrical pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Perform preventive maintenance in accordance with plant standards.
Support equipment installations debug processes and assist with production start-ups.
Document equipment performance downtime and repairs using SAP or internal tracking systems.
Utilize PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) for troubleshooting and programming changes.
Ensure compliance with safety standards environmental regulations and internal quality protocols (QSR ISO GMP).
Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to drive continuous improvement.
Provide leadership in technical performance and mentor junior technicians as needed.
High School Diploma or GED (required)
Associates degree in Advanced Mechatronics Industrial Maintenance or related field (required)
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a technical manufacturing role
Leadership or team lead experience strongly preferred
Proficiency with hydraulic/pneumatic systems and understanding of electronic/electrical principles
Experience working night shifts or rotating schedules in a regulated manufacturing environment
Comfortable passing a basic electronics assessment and participating in multi-tier technical interviews
