Job Description
Senior Infrastructure Systems Administrator
Contract Length: 12 months potential extension
Location: Dallas Texas Hybrid (3 days onsite downtown Dallas and related sites within DFW)
**Applicants must already be local to the Dallas area**
Were looking for a seasoned Senior Infrastructure Systems Administrator to join our clients dynamic Control Systems team. This hybrid role supports critical infrastructure that enables 24/7 utility operations. The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years of experience across Windows Linux VMware and Nutanix environments with a strong understanding of control system or operations technology.

Qualifications:
- Expertise in VMware Active Directory Nutanix and Linux systems
- Experience with DNS DHCP IIS and FTP & SFTP
- Strong skills in troubleshooting scripting (PowerShell) and automation
- Experience in high-availability disaster recovery and backup environments
- Familiarity with control systems or operations technology environments preferred
- Solid knowledge of hardware (DELL/HP) RAID and server lifecycle management
Responsibilities:
- Administer Windows () and RHEL (79) servers
- Manage virtualization platforms (VMware Nutanix VDI)
- Ensure infrastructure security patching and compliance with NERC CIP standards
- Monitor system performance and maintain high availability
- Provide Tier-3 engineering support and participate in on-call rotation
- Collaborate cross-functionally with application network and security teams
