The Opportunity:
As an Accounts Payable Specialist at Credibly you will be a key member of the accounting team responsible for managing the companys liabilities and ensuring timely and accurate payment to vendors. You will play a crucial role in maintaining strong vendor relationships and the financial health of the organization. This position offers a great chance to refine your skills in a fast-paced and supportive financial environment.
What You Will Do:
Process and enter vendor invoices with a high degree of accuracy.
Manage and execute weekly payment runs (checks ACH wire transfers).
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive vendor relationships.
Assist with the month-end closing process including accruals and account reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to accounts payable.
Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation.
Assist with annual audits and tax-related reporting including 1099s.
Support the accounting team with various tasks as needed.
Who You Are:
Associates degree in accounting or a related field; or equivalent experience.
1-3 years of experience in an accounts payable or similar role.
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software.
Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with vendors and internal teams.
A team player with the ability to work independently.
What Makes You Special:
Experience with accounting software such as Intacct and Concur.
Experience in the financial services industry.
Familiarity with automated accounts payable systems.
