The Role: Mergon UK are currently hiring for a Warehouse Operative.


Hours of work: Panama Shift Pattern 12 hours per shift either 6pm 6am or 6am 6pm equating to 84 hours per two week rota rotating days and night shifts on two-week rota working pattern.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Receive store and retrieve materials accurately and efficiently in the Warehouse.

  • Assigning finished stock areas labelled and quality identified.

  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts operating safely and effectively.

  • Daily Maintenance on Forklift trucks.

  • Maintain daily housekeeping including stock rotation keeping all areas in clean and organised standard.

  • Follow standard operating procedures safety protocols and guidelines for warehouse tasks.

  • Collaborate with warehouse team members for task coordination and workflow optimisation.

To be successful in the role you will likely have:



  • At least two years experience of operating a fork-lift truck vehicle working in an similar environment (not essential)
  • FLT driving qualifications (essential to fulfil the role)
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to influence others and work as part of a team
  • Ability to work independent and part of a team.
