Job Description

Join Our Team as a UAV Data Processing Technician

Are you an experienced geomatics professional with a passion for innovation quality and leading-edge technology Inline Group Inc. is seeking a UAV Data Processing Technician to join our growing Operations team. In this role youll have the opportunity to work with an exceptional management team and within a supportive collaborative company culture. Come join our team and experience the difference. This position is preferably based in Calgary with secondary consideration for Edmonton or remote work for the right candidate.

What Youll Be Doing:

UAV Data Processing (Photogrammetry) Take charge of UAV initiatives from flight planning to final deliverables. Ensure optimal workflows using Pix4D Global Mapper and Propeller software. Maintain data integrity organized file structures and consistent reporting to meet client project and company expectations.

Heavy Civil Volume Tracking Utilize both conventional survey data and UAV data to track material volumes on heavy civil projects. Deliver accurate calculations and reliable reports to support project progress tracking and quantity verification.

Quality and Compliance Follow established UAV best practices and contribute to maintaining high standards across all projects. Ensure your work complies with regulatory requirements maintenance procedures and reporting protocols. Actively support continuous improvement by identifying issues and participating in corrective actions.

Strategize and Deliver Work closely with the Survey Manager to coordinate project timelines establish UAV methodologies set priorities and ensure deliverables meet Inlines quality standards and deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications Experience & Skills
  • Civil Engineering or Geomatics Technology Diploma
  • 5 years of experience in the construction surveying industry
  • Advanced user of Pix4D and Global Mapper
  • Intermediate user of Civil 3D
  • Creative and resourceful problem solver
  • Critical thinking skills and technical troubleshooting ability
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Programming knowledge is considered an asset
