About the team
We are looking for brilliant software engineers who have a passion for consumer products and want to join an energetic team that is changing the way people think about travel. We ship code daily A/B test extensively and have a primary role in creating the product from inception to implementation. Theres much to do and youll be responsible for making some real cool stuff happen.
Our APIs internal services and web app are at the core of our stable of software thats reinventing mobility. Be a member of a small team of talented engineers and designers and play a major role in shaping an exciting app thats changing how people travel and think about car ownership.
Learn more about our Engineering team here: you will do Responsible for the entire lifecycle of projects or features including architectural design development and deployment. Improve code structure and architecture in service of testability and maintainability. Writes and reviews proposals and documentation. Take ownership of their respective platform and proactively diagnoses problems. Manipulate the architecture of their platform to propose solutions to complex problems with rationale taking into account evidence and considering tradeoffs. Escalates problems that have a broader scope. Prioritize a unowned or undesirable work that enables the team to move faster. Work with cross-functional team and adjacent teams to solve problems. Communicate impacts to project deadlines and deliverables and proactively collaborate with others to facilitate timelines. Advise and coach other engineers on an individual basis. Job Duties:Your profile
Minimum Requirements: Masters degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science Engineering (any field) or a related quantitative discipline and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field OR Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science Engineering (any field) or closely related quantitative discipline and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

For this role the target base salary range in San Francisco CA is $206315.00 - $234000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits. In general our ranges reflect the market-based target for new hire salaries based on the level and location of the role. Within the range individual pay is determined by objective factors assessed during the application and interview process such as job-related skills experience and relevant education or training.
