Tax Manager Acton MA (Hybrid)
Are you an experienced tax professional ready to take the next step in your career Were looking for a skilled Tax Manager to join a respected tax and bookkeeping services firm in the Acton/Boxborough MA area.
In this role youll lead complex tax engagements for individuals businesses and trusts. Youll have the chance to build strong client relationships deliver strategic tax planning and mentor junior staff all while working in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead client engagements and serve as a trusted advisor on complex tax matters and planning opportunities

Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals businesses and trusts

Provide tax planning strategies and ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations

Manage accounting and tax cycles for high-net-worth clients in diverse industries

Represent clients during IRS and state audits providing expert support and resolution

Mentor and oversee junior tax staff supporting their professional growth

Develop and maintain tax policies procedures and internal controls

Stay current on tax laws and industry trends
What Were Looking For:

8 years of tax experience ideally in public accounting or a professional services firm

Strong technical knowledge of individual business and trust taxation

Ability to manage complex engagements and multiple priorities

Excellent communication and client service skills

Leadership experience and interest in developing junior staff
-
CPA preferred but not required
