EMPLOYER: Delta Dental Insurance Company
TITLE: Senior Applications Analyst
Location: 1130 Sanctuary Pkwy Alpharetta GA 30009; Must live within reasonable commuting distance from HQ and able to appear in office as required.
Salary Range: $129147 - $170900/yr
Job Description: Responsible for applying past experience and industry standards in the planning organizing and conducting of a Business Needs Assessment most commonly referred to as Business Requirements for the development of systems capabilities that are cost effective creative and that meet users needs. This role may engage in the solutioning of complex challenges and may recommend and implement system configurations to accomplish complex project goals. The Senior Applications Analyst plays a durable role throughout the Development Lifecycle that includes gathering and documenting business requirements creating use case scenarios modeling business process and participating in the overall planning that will ensure the system delivered meets the needs of the business. Must live within reasonable commuting distance from HQ and able to appear in office as required.
Responsibilities
- Analyze historical and current data to identify patterns trends and used data analysis to uncover insights and drive business growth.
- Analyze complex data identify potential conflicts and provide recommendations to mitigate risks and maintain the firms integrity.
- Summarize requirements and connect requirements to business goals while anticipating impact on target as well as related systems.
- Work independently in assisting the business in building upon the project definition description and vision document which may include scope risk and identification of stakeholders.
- Create reports and analyze data to identify solutions that meet business goals and identify existing or potential problems to discover new process improvement opportunities.
- Understand multiple integrated system and deliver solutioning for complex integrations to achieve business goals.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science or Management Information systems or related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or business analytics-related role.
Base Pay Information
The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dentals assessment of the candidates knowledge skills abilities (KSAs) related experience education certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.
Pay Grade 21. $129147 - $170900
