Job Description
Position Summary:
As a Plant Engineer you will play a key role in maintaining and improving manufacturing processes equipment reliability and production efficiency. You will lead troubleshooting efforts supervise technical staff and implement engineering solutions that drive productivity and reduce downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support for plant operations and maintenance activities
- Supervise and mentor a team of technicians or operators
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across production lines
- Lead root cause analysis and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance safety quality and equipment performance
- Ensure compliance with plant safety regulations and engineering standards
- Manage small to mid-size capital improvement projects as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong continuous improvement background (Lean Six Sigma Kaizen etc.)
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and/or electrical systems
- Excellent communication leadership and problem-solving skills
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Electrical Industrial Engineering or related field (preferred)
