Job Description

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Nottinghamshire to assist with the appointment of a Commissioning and Compliance Assistant on a 3-month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 15.90 - 20.26 per hour

Summary:

The Commissioning and Compliance Assistant will support the Travel and Transport Services team in ensuring the effective administration compliance and monitoring of transport service contracts. The role involves data management contract preparation performance reporting and ensuring alignment with statutory regulations and strategic objectives. The assistant will also provide timely communication and reports to support decision-making and service delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Collate input and analyse performance data from stakeholders and transport suppliers.
  • Prepare reports on service performance and compliance using the Strategic Passenger Transport Framework.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external suppliers.
  • Provide accurate and timely advice and management reports to the Commissioning & Compliance Officer.
  • Support the Commissioning & Compliance Officer in areas of compliance commissioning client engagement and performance.

Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Business Management Commissioning Passenger Transport or a related field (or equivalent).

Experience:

  • Proficiency in using a variety of IT systems and software packages.
  • Strong knowledge of contract and budget monitoring.
  • Experience in report writing and data analysis.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and influence others.
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems using procurement and operational frameworks.
    High level of personal initiative and commitment to customer service excellence.
  • Able to manage priorities effectively and meet operational targets.
  • Capable of working independently or as part of a team.
