Job Description
Chemical Operator High Point Latex Plant NC
Pay:Starting at $24.69 plus .50 shift differential
Shift: Night Monday-Thursday 9:00pm-7:00am
As a Chemical Operator you will be a crucial part of our operations ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect peoples lives!
Primary Responsibilities
- Functions include setting up mixing and/or delivering production chemicals used in a manufacturing or process area where accuracy of chemical composition is important (e.g. wafer ink toner media) in process operation.
- Works from written and verbal instructions.
- Removes and disposes of waste chemicals solvents and acids. Performs maintenance of production furnaces and cleans glass tubes and jungles.
- May profile furnaces and clean up chemical spills.
Qualifications
- Ability to Lift/Carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to Push/Pull 51 lbs or more.
