Job Description

-Instructs assigned students employing varied instructional strategies; using technology where appropriate.-Works cooperatively with colleagues parents and administrators.-Plans instruction with teaching team members and instructional specialist.-Attends workshops and in-service seminars as prepared by Assistant Superintendent to improve instruction.-Communicates regularly with parents and administration.-Performs other reasonably related duties as required. Qualifications-Elementary Massachusetts Certification required.-Demonstrated knowledge of varied instructional strategies.-Evidence of current course work in elementary curriculum.-Knowledge of technology as an instructional tool.-Demonstrated understanding of sound growth and development principles.-Evidence of strong interpersonal InformationAndover Public Schools (APS) seeks candidates who embody our ethos which includes valuing the identities of all students high expectations for all students teaching excellence collaboration innovation respect and is committed to hiring and supporting a racially and ethnically diverse faculty and staff.
