Job Description
Via is using technology to transform transportation around the world. From changing a single persons daily commute to reducing humanitys collective environmental footprint - weve got huge goals.
Together with the Hannover Region and Hannovers public transport operator STRA we have been operating the sprinti one of the most successful on-demand public transport projects in Germany with around 130000 passengers every month for over four years.
As a Field Manager youll oversee the daily operations of the sprinti service in Hannover ensuring passengers are reliably transported by our drivers. Youll drive continuous improvements and have a unique opportunity to shape the future of public transportation in the Hannover region.
What Youll Do:
- Be the core of sprintis daily operations in Hannover and the primary point of contact for our drivers.
- Take full operational responsibility for day-to-day service and keep key performance metrics front and center.
- Lead the team directly supporting employees from onboarding through personal development and manage efficient shift planning.
- Collaborate closely with our central Operations teams to continually improve service quality and actively contribute to process optimization projects.
- Bring your ideas and drive theyre essential to making sprinti better every day.
Who You Are:
- An experienced leader who knows how to motivate and develop teams in an operational environment ideally with experience managing shift-based staff.
- Someone who thrives on personal interaction and passionately advocates for their teams needs.
- Calm under pressure with the right tone when communicating with drivers and external partners alike.
- Data-driven using metrics as a compass for your decisions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a strong drive to create positive change.
- Proficient in German (C1 level) and English (B2 level).
- Holder of a valid Class B drivers license.
