Job Description:

Program Development and Management
Responsible for implementing a comprehensive plan to support students faculty staff and stakeholders in creating opportunities to connect career development into the academic experience of students. The incumbent will leverage current student success initiatives with campus to ensure that students have access to a variety of career development programming tools and services to support continuous learning and post-graduation success. The individual will manage university-wide career holds (i.e. Career Prep required for first year students and Career Readiness Check-In required for second year students etc.) to ensure student learning outcomes and university expectations are fulfilled. Engages campus partners (i.e. alumni staff faculty employers academic guidance community members etc.) to collaborate and move forward on the universitys existing strategy for academic integration of career services across campus. Collaborates with functional areas of the career center academic advising enrollment management. and areas of the university to provide coordinated standards of success services.

Student Engagement and Support Services
The individual provides coaching training consultations success interventions and educational resources for students to support academic success and desired post-graduation outcomes across campus. While considering a learners academic matriculation plan the incumbent creates resources and pathways aimed at providing opportunities for learners to take advantage of academic strengths major exploration and experiential learning opportunities at the institution to promote holistic student success. Delivers outreach presentations to classes academic units student support units and organizations to share opportunities to infuse career development practices to promote post-graduation success. Provides career coaching interventions and student support meetings to promote career development student academic success and holistic student success.

Faculty and Staff Partnerships
Works within the university ecosystem to expand campus career learning throughout the student experience. Provides consultations to faculty and staff to integrate experiential learning skill development reflection and other post-graduation success measures into their curricula advising and university student support efforts. Participates in various meetings and engagements to leverage academic and co-curricular learning experiences for student success. Supports faculty in their teaching of competency-based education. Partners with faculty and the academic guidance communities promote early engagement to career interests and pathways. Exchanges information related to student engagement career development industry trends and academic success interventions to support student success.

Evaluation Trends Communications and Assessment
Oversees assessment data tracking and analysis related to early student success measures career engagement career holds and academic support. This position stays current with recent trends and resources addressing student career issues contemporary population support student success and incorporates information into the career center. Utilizes data to understand holistic student engagement decision-making and wrap-around services needed for student populations. Utilizes student information systems (i.e. Salesforce Gator CareerLink Canvas) to better understand and track student engagement results. Develops collateral content and web resources to highlight partnership efforts for student success and world readiness. Provides accurate reports and data related to academic integration of career development and stakeholder engagement.

Expected Salary:

$60000.00

Required Qualifications:

Masters degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or a bachelors degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience.

Preferred:

Masters degree in higher education advising coaching counseling communications HR or related field. Familiarity with standard concepts practices and procedures related to supporting contemporary student populations student success academic advising etc. on a large campus with results is highly preferred.
