Our Personal Empowerment Training curriculum that provides transformative Emotional Intelligence Training has been designed by The Empowerment Institute at Twin Cities R!SE. Not only do our TCR program participants benefit from this training The Empowerment Institute partners with businesses schools universities and nonprofits to help them create their own empowered cultures within these organizations.
JOB PURPOSE:
Twin Cities R!SE is seeking a mission-driven Education Facilitator & Trainer to deliver dynamic participant-centered instruction and support the implementation of high-quality workforce education programs. This role combines classroom facilitation (teaching) with program coordination and administration responsibilities ensuring that educational offerings are effective engaging and aligned with TCRs outcomes for job readiness and personal empowerment.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitation & Instruction (60%)
- Deliver engaging trauma-informed instruction in 21st Century Skills career readiness and personal empowerment for adult learners.
- Facilitate both in-person and virtual cohort sessions using best practices in adult education.
- Support participant progress through clear communication coaching collaboration and progress tracking.
Program Administration & Curriculum Support (25%)
- Coordinate classroom scheduling materials preparation and instructor support needs.
- Maintain and update curriculum content ensuring alignment with learning objectives and workforce development goals.
- Support the management of the Learning Management System (LMS) including course setup attendance and content uploads.
Data Evaluation & Collaboration (15%)
- Track and analyze key education metrics (e.g. attendance engagement course completion) and provide reports to leadership.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Coaching Outreach and Employer Services teams to support participant success.
- Assist in implementing new program initiatives and process improvements to enhance participant outcomes.
Other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position may support interns and volunteers as needed.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
- $58000 to $65000 annual salary depending on qualifications.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Human Services Education Business or other related areas.
- Four years practical classroom experience in training education or consulting settings with experience in developing or implementing best practices concepts in workforce development particularly for adult learners.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in curriculum development educational strategy development and educational administration.
- Experience in an educational or consulting capacity with project management concepts and past project execution accomplishments.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Masters degree in related field of study.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Deep understanding of adult learning theories and practices especially in relation to workforce development and career training.
- Expertise in instructional design including the ability to create engaging effective and inclusive curricula and training programs for diverse adult learners.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect interpret and utilize data to improve program effectiveness and participant outcomes.
- Ability to establish and maintain strategic partnerships with educational institutions community organizations and other stakeholders to enhance program offerings.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with staff participants stakeholders and funders.
- Ability to work with a positive outlook in a changing environment quickly adjusting key priorities in response to the ever-changing dynamics of the organization.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to perform the primary duties and responsibilities of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to use a PC/laptop requiring repetitive motion of fingers hands and wrists.
- Required to occasionally move about in an office environment to access file cabinets printers etc. and remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
- Required to move about in a classroom during training facilitation.
- Ability to lift light materials and equipment in the typical office environment (up to 15 pounds).
- Ability to be on video calls with camera on for all meetings.

- Typical office environment
- Work schedule: Occasional evenings and/or weekends will be required (workweek will be adjusted accordingly).
- Travel requirements: Position will be expected to travel throughout the Twin Cities metro area to attend meetings and other events (as needed).
- Location/structure of work: Position is hybrid; employee will be expected to work in the TCR office weekly.
