Blizzard Entertainment has one opening for a Senior Financial Analyst at its Irvine California headquarters working a hybrid schedule with 3 days on-site and 2 days remote.
We are seeking someone who will be part of Blizzards Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team working on centralized reporting forecasting and planning. This individual will assist with the companys forecast and annual budgeting processes. In addition this person will provide financial support to management including preparing financial presentations financial analysis and other projects requested by management.
This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is Irvine CA.
What you bring to the table:
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours so this role includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities:
- Support business planning efforts with the preparation of quarterly forecasts weekly pacing annual budgets cost trackers centralized reporting packages and long-range plans
- Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue expenses and capital expenditures
- Monitor performance indicators highlight trends and analyze causes of unexpected variance
- Support management team and department heads with ad hoc analysis and reporting
- Assist in preparing presentations and supporting materials for management
- Support business planning and strategy efforts to help develop the next wave of epic Blizzard titles
- Help with ad-hoc and other special projects as needs arise
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree in accounting finance or related areas
- 6 years proven operations finance FP&A or accounting experience preferably in a publicly traded company
- Strong financial analysis and organizational skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to work with other members of the finance team and across the organization
- The highest standards of accuracy and attention to detail in a dynamic multitasking environment
- Knowledge of general accounting and financial planning
- Able to work independently with limited direction
- Advanced proficiency in Excel PowerPoint and financial management tools

- Experience in video game software technology or entertainment industries

You can learn more by visiting the U.S. the standard base pay range for this role is $72720.00 - $134460.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately your specific range and offer will be based on several factors including relevant experience performance and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this roles range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed. While we strive to provide competitive offers to successful candidates new hire compensation is negotiable.
