Our signature restaurantCascata Italian Cuisine delivers elevated Italian fare in a relaxed and vibrant atmospherecomplete with riverfront views a full bar and a welcoming vibe. The Hilton Canopy Sioux Falls is looking for the next great Host or Hostess to join their team.
The Schedule must be flexible to work mornings afternoons evenings and weekend shifts.
The rate of pay starts at $15.00 per hour with the ability to grow in the food and beverage industry at the Canopy Sioux Falls.
A Restaurant Host/Hostess is responsible for welcoming guests and escorting them to their seats for dining in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
As the first and last impression of the guest dining experience the Host/Hostess sets the tone for every visit. Youll greet guests with warmth manage reservations and seating flow and ensure every guest feels genuinely welcomed and valued from arrival to farewell.
What will I be doing
As a Restaurant Host/Hostess you would be responsible for welcoming guests and escorting them to their seats for dining in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Welcome guests and ascertain their dining needs
- Seat guests and manage the seating chart
- Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow
- Perform opening and closing duties as needed
- Assist others with side work including but not limited to cleaning stocking folding silverware etc.
- Ensure knowledge of menu
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely friendly and efficient manner
- Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships
