Job Description
Qualifications:
- Must have high school diploma or GED; must possess a valid Mississippi drivers license.
- Must be able to get along well with co-workers and work as a team player.
- Must possess excellent customer service skill.
- Must be able to work any day any shift.
- Must have at least two years previous experience in landscaping/gardening with appropriate certification.
Essential Job Functions:
- Maintain health vitality and appearance of all shrubs trees and ornamental plants.
- Maintain and repair all sprinklers and waterlines associated with above areas.
- Vacuum swimming pool daily (year-round).
- Groom all flower beds and exposes soil on a daily basis.
- Assist laborers when needed with large jobs.
- Must meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies.
Physical Mental & Environmental Demands:
- Must be able to work in extremes of temperature in excess of 115 degrees or below 10 degrees.
- Must be able of hearing in the full audible range in high noise conditions and possess average vision and color perception.
- Must be able to stoop bend jump and carry heavy loads run level surfaces as well as up or down stairs.
- Must be able to lift at leas 50 pounds.
- Must possess coordination and dexterity to drive power sweeper forklifts scissors lifts and other equipment.
- Must be able to think clearly and respond calmly in emergency situations.
- Must be able to learn and retain locations operation and repair procedures of the propertys equipment.
