Job Description

The Corporate Business Development Assistant plays a significant role in supporting logistics and coordination of companywide conferences and events maintaining organization and client connections and performing research activities to drive lead and corporate top pursuit implementation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates conference and event participation companywide (e.g. attendee registration
    hotel reservations reception coordination exhibit preparation and shipping) adhering to
    associated deadlines and requirements.
  • Coordinates packaging and shipping of companywide conference items (e.g. exhibits
    printed materials exhibit supplies etc.). Maintains supply and equipment inventories.
  • Complies with company administrative procedures.
  • Maintains an organized filing system and supports Corporate BD in all their filing and file
    retrieval needs.
  • Serves as a liaison between conference/membership organizations and Vanir.
  • Regularly communicates and serves as a liaison between Corporate BD and Vanirs regions
    (interacts with Corporate Leadership Area Managers Executive Directors Vanirs Event
    Attendees).
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks with parallel schedules and deadlines.
  • Facilitates and coordinates pre-conference logistics calls post-conference recap calls and
    all associated forms and information.
  • Maintains conference calendar and supports with maintenance of Corporate BD SharePoint
    site (internal). Maintains all files and folders associated with Corporate BD.
  • May support in typing all required correspondence meeting minutes and other material
    either from rough draft or corrected copy.
  • Consistently follows the organizations safety policy promoting a positive and collaborative
    safety culture.
  • On occasion serve as a Vanir representative at events (may require travel).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree with preferred.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • General office clerical processes (invoice processing shipping/mailings orders).
  • Basic skills in all MS Office and Adobe Acrobat products (e.g. Outlook Calendar Word Excel PowerPoint PDF files).
  • Good written and verbal communication.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors including education qualifications experience and geographic location. The hourly range for this position is $25.49 - $27.41.
