Job Summary:

The Vice President of Strategic Services & Facility Integration is a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for the strategic oversight and alignment of core non-clinical operational functions across our senior living campuses which include skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. This role ensures seamless service integration brand alignment and operational excellence in areas that significantly impact resident experience and organizational performance.

Reporting to the President this role collaborates closely with fellow Vice Presidents of Operations Finance Clinical Services Human Resources and Technology to support enterprise-wide initiatives. This position will oversee Facilities Management Dietary Services Procurement Marketing and Environmental Services ensuring these areas are strategically integrated and aligned with the organizations mission vision and growth objectives.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Recruits interviews hires and develops employees within their areas of responsibility.
  • Oversees the schedules responsibilities and daily workflow of their leaders and departments.
  • Provides professional development coaching to include annual performance evaluations.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leads enterprise-wide strategic initiatives in collaboration with the Regional Director of Operations to improve service delivery elevate resident satisfaction and meet occupancy and census targets.
  • Oversees the aesthetic and functional integrity of all building-related projects to include renovations refurbishments and new construction ensuring alignment with brand standards operational needs and resident preferences.
  • Develops manages and monitors operating and capital budgets for their respective departments ensuring financial performance aligns with business objectives and cost containment strategies.
  • Partners with Environmental Services and Maintenance teams to ensure all properties meet safety regulatory and quality benchmarks.
  • Collaborates with Marketing and Digital Media teams to guide brand strategy enhance digital presence and drive community image initiatives across markets.
  • Supports the growth and diversification of service lines through business development efforts including market research feasibility analysis and partnership opportunities.
  • Works cross-functionally with Finance and Technology teams to assess the ROI of strategic projects optimize resource allocation and identify operational efficiencies.
  • Maintains high-level accountability for project execution risk management and outcome measurements across initiatives.
  • Participates in strategic planning activities and other executive leadership functions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • High attention to detail P&O strategic thinking execution and business development acumen.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of the senior living and/or healthcare industry and regulatory environment.
  • Proficient in vendor relationship and budget management capital planning and P&L oversight.
  • Strong skills in project planning operational workflow improvement and brand alignment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management/facilities tools preferred
  • Must be able to travel consistent with demands of the position

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in business administration healthcare administration hospitality management or a related field required; Masters degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in a healthcare senior living or hospitality environment including at least 5 years in a senior or executive leadership role.
  • Experience overseeing multi-site operations and teams across multiple disciplines.
  • Prior involvement in construction planning interior/exterior design review and facilities management to include marketing preferred.
