Canon Financial Services Inc. (CFS) located in Mount Laurel NJ is currently seeking a Collections Representative II (Representative Collections II). This individual will handle both 1-30 day past due customers as well as 31 day accounts.
This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Tuesday and Wednesday and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days). Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.
Your Impact
- The Representative Collections II handles both 1-30 day past due customers as well as 31 customers - Resolves issues/problems to obtain payments - Resolves complicated issues and provides timely resolution to the customer therefore obtaining payments - Responsible for collection calls and/or correspondence in a fast paced goal oriented collections department - Provides customer service regarding collection issues process customer refunds process and review account adjustments resolve client discrepancies and short payments - Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts - Customer calls account adjustments small balance write off customer reconciliations and processing credit memos - Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned accounts - Resolves disputes such as insurance asset usage sales tax equipment disputes property tax monetary adjustments etc. in a timely fashion - Has skip tracing/account reconciliation knowledge - Maintains low delinquency - Represents the organization to customers by providing information responding to inquiries or troubleshooting product problems - Typically reports to a Supervisor or Manager - Level II employees have a good understanding of the day-to-day job role can apply their experience to more complicated tasks and work under limited supervision though decision-making is still not required as they generally follow existing processes and procedures
About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring
- Experience Preferred: 1 - 2 years of Collections/Customer Service experience - Minimum of a HS Diploma or equivalent required - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Intermediate knowledge level of Microsoft Office products - Requires individuals to work successfully within a team environment and inter-departmentally to ensure service levels group and individual metrics are met - Proven analytical problem solving skills and basic math skills required - Ability to multitask and excel in a fast paced environment - Strong ability to prioritize with excellent time management skills - Successful utilization of systems: SalesForce Unified Desktop Leasewave
We are providing the anticipated salary range for this role: $21.91 - $32.80 hourly.
