Qualifications
- Completion of accredited school of diagnostic medical sonography. Required
- Must provide copy of diploma/degree for highest level of education obtained. Required
Work Experience
- Experience as a sonographer. Preferred
- Previous healthcare experience. Required
- Two years of clinical experience. Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Sonography program is accredited through the ARRT: ARRT certification prior to hire date CPR certification required within three (3) months of hire. Registered by ARDMS in abdomen and OB/Gyn within 12 months of hire. Must pass Sonography Principles & Instrumentation (SPI) exam within 12 months of hire. Required or
- Sonography program is accredited through CAAHEP CPR certification required within three (3) months of hire. Registered by ARDMS in abdomen and OB/Gyn within 12 months of hire. Must pass Sonography Principles & Instrumentation (SPI) exam within 12 months of hire. Required
Registered by ARDMS in abdomen OB/Gyn and Vascular. Preferred
