Doffer Operators day shift.

Job Responsibilities:

• Must doff package and load material to specifications described on each customer order.
• Conforms to the proper reading and understanding of Wm T Burnett production schedule and ordered pick lists.
• Performs visual inspection of fiber and finished rolls. Removing all processed waste to its designated area.
• Ensure knowledge of tube cores packaging materials and stock areas for each. Learn mechanical/electrical parts of wind-up and their significant purposes.
• Comply with lock-out tag-out procedures.
• Read write and interpret work instructions safety processes etc.
• Complies with all safety rules and requirements and refers any unresolved safety issues to the Shift Manager.
• Ensure great housekeeping and organizational skills of production line. Ensure great communication between team members.
• Other duties assigned

Mathematical skills

Basic math count add subtract multiply divide fractions. Read and Interpret Tape Measure. Read charts for Process control.

Calculate figures and amounts such as proportions percentages area and fractions. Ability to read and interpret charts used for process control.

Computer skills: Operations of various production software programs to perform equipment set up and make data entries.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger handle or feel and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Work Environment

• Work in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels excessive heat and vibrations fumes and airborne particles as well as Exposure to moving mechanical parts.
• Work well with co-workers.
