Compensation:
CA Minimum Wage ($16.50 per hour)

ChurchWest Insurance Services is seeking a personable and detail-oriented Ministry Engagement Assistant to join our Sales and Marketing team. This part-time in-office position plays a pivotal role in managing inbound leads and supporting targeted outreach efforts to churches and ministries across California. As the first point of contact for many of our prospective clients youll be responsible for creating meaningful first impressions managing lead data within Salesforce and helping drive opportunity generation through structured outbound efforts.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and warmly to inbound ministry leads via web phone and email.
  • Create clean accurate records in Salesforce to support opportunity setup pipeline management.
  • Mange inbound quote requests follow up with clients for needed documentation and set appointments on behalf of local agents.
  • Engage in consistent outbound efforts to engage qualified prospects and generate new interest.
  • Coordinate meeting logistics between prospective ministries and agency producers.
  • Maintain CRM data integrity through consistent recordkeeping and attention to detail.


Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service administrative support or inside sales preferred.
  • Comfortable speaking with clients over the phone in a warm professional tone.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple follow-up tasks reliably.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and general office software.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Friendly and professional communication style; able to smile through the phone.
  • Dependable follow-through on all assigned tasks and client communications.
  • Able to work independently within structured workflows.
  • Comfortable balancing inbound response with proactive outbound outreach.
  • Alignment with ChurchWests mission to serve ministries through operational excellence.
