Were looking for a content creator (video based) in London whos wellversed in video editing and all things social and also who doesnt find it awkward at all that some of their coworkers never talk and who also have tails.

As part of The Disobedient Edgard & Coopers creative studio youll be working alongside people and pets who are counting on us to tell the rest of the world what over a million cats and dogs already know: That Edgard & Cooper makes amazing nutritious pet food.

If youre the perfect candidate youre already creating thumbstopping content whether its for brands or just to make your friends laugh. Youre your own videographer and editor and happy to crank out your own ideas or collaborate with others. Youre on IG FB YouTube and TikTok and you have an account on Bluesky but youre really starting to doubt it will ever take off.

If you do your job here as we expect youll be doing some of the best work of your career all while helping to create one of the most iconic brands in the world. Seriously the bars that high.

Responsibilities

One of our mantras is The worst thing you can do is everything we ask. In other words The Disobedient is an ideal home for creatives who are proactive selfstarters the kind of creatives that dont limit their thinking to what theyre tasked with.

All that said there are plenty of things we do ask most of which you hopefully love doing anyway:

• Collaborate with other disobedient writers designers and marketers to dream up ideas that make Edgard & Cooper even more famouser.
• Shoot and edit videos that either tell perfect onstrategy brand stories or are stupid and meaningless and you cant wait to pass them on.
• Have a healthy dissatisfaction with everything youve ever done one that serves as a motivation to constantly improve and learn.

Skills & Capabilities

Considering the breadth of ways were bringing Edgard & Cooper to life odds are good that any talent or passion you have could find a home here as well so feel free to tell us what you love doing when youre not videoing. In the meantime it would also probably be helpful to check a few of these boxes:

• Youve done this before. Ideally in advertising or social media.
• You have a portfolio that proves you can craft compelling video stories. Stories that are strong in concepting filming editing and motion design.
• You have pro-esque level skills with a camera Adobe Premiere and After Effects (with a bonus if you know basic motion graphics or animation). Itd be nice to be decent at lighting and sound too.
• Youre kind of funny (always is preferred; sometimes is also acceptable).
