Job Description
Job Summary (in list format):
- Serve as a Quality Assurance (QA) Tester within an Agile team.
- Design develop and execute automated test scripts using Python Selenium Robot Framework or Playwright.
- Perform both manual and automated testing of software applications to ensure high quality.
- Participate in all phases of the testing lifecycle including planning execution defect tracking and reporting.
- Document test cases and track defects using test management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Conduct API testing and integrate it into the automation suite (preferred).
- Collaborate with developers QA engineers documentation teams and product owners to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Identify potential usability issues from a users perspective to enhance user experience.
- Apply analytical skills to identify risk areas estimate testing scope and improve product quality.
- Continuously assess and contribute to the improvement of testing processes.
- Stay updated with the latest testing tools trends and best practices.
- Required: ISTQB certification and 4 years of QA experience.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies defect management and types of testing.
- Proficient in test automation frameworks and Python scripting.
- Familiar with Agile methodologies and able to work in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving communication and collaboration skills.
- Nice to have: Experience with API testing tools (e.g. Postman REST Assured) exposure to CI/CD pipelines and knowledge of performance or security testing.
