Job Description
Local-Radiology/MRI Tech Contract Role
Location: Pittsburgh PA 15219
Shift: 12 hr Variable Shift
Duration: 12 -weeks contract
Weekly Pay: $1620 $1800
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans and radiologic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
- Operate GE and Siemens MRI scanners proficiently
- Position patients safely and comfortably ensuring proper imaging protocols
- Prepare and administer contrast media as required
- Evaluate images for technical quality and adjust techniques as necessary
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Follow all safety protocols including MRI safety screening procedures
- Provide high-quality patient care and communication
- Collaborate with radiologists and other team members to ensure timely and accurate results
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of equipment and work area
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent specialty experience in MRI and Radiology. required
- Equipment: Must have hands-on experience with GE and Siemens MRI scanners.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Certification: ARRT (R) and ARRT (MR) certifications required.
- Licensure: Current licensure in the state of Pennsylvania is required.
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association) required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
