Job Description
Local-Radiology/CT Scan Contract Role
Location: Harrisburg PA 17101
Shift: 8 hr Variable Shift
Duration: 12 -weeks contract
Weekly Pay: $2000 $2160
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
- Perform CT and radiology imaging procedures according to department protocols and physician orders.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures ensuring comfort and safety.
- Operate and maintain CT equipment performing quality assurance checks as needed.
- Document and verify patient information imaging procedures and results in the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to ensure accurate image interpretation.
- Adhere to all infection control and safety procedures including proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding procedures.
- Maintain a clean organized and well-stocked imaging area.
- Licensure/Certification:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) CT Certification required
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent visible specialty experience in radiology/CT.
