Job Description
We are seeking a (CT Technologist) for a 13-weeks travel/contract assignment in Cambridge Massachusetts 02138.
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2700 - $2880
- Shift: Day Shift
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT scans according to established protocols in a fast-paced high-volume trauma setting
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to deliver timely and accurate diagnostic imaging
- Evaluate images for technical quality and proper positioning
- Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
- Maintain equipment report malfunctions and ensure a clean safe work environment
- Follow all radiation safety and infection control guidelines
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients family members and the healthcare team
- Provide emergency coverage as needed including on-call responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a two-year AMA-accredited School of Radiologic Technology (required)
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (required)
- Licensed as a Radiologic Technologist of Massachusetts (required)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
- Proficient in performing CT scans in a high-volume trauma environment (required)
- Previous experience in a trauma setting strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
